With Paris Fashion Week wrapping up, London Fashion Week takes off in a little less then three weeks. One of the great parts about the show is the BFC New Generations sponsorship set up back in 1993 to support some of the best up and coming designers. Previous noted designers such as Matthew Williamson, Sophia Kokosalaki, and Alexander McQueen have all been apart of the New Gen showing. And this year is no exception to the talent. Christopher Kane, Duro Olowu, Erdem, Krystof Strozyna, Louise Goldin, Marios Schwab, MeadhamKirchhoff, Todd Lynn will all be showing their works this year at London Fashion Week. I personally am looking forward to what Todd Lynn has to offer.
Todd Lynn is quite familiar to the music industry, dressing the likes of Bono and Mick Jagger. But Todd Lynn has stepped beyond the rock world to be shown in Vogue, I.D., 10 Magazine, UK ELLE, and various other fashion magazines. Though his work very much embodies the edgy influence of the music world (i.e. the photo above from his spring 2008), I am excited to see what Todd Lynn has to offer this Autumn/Winter 2008.
