Karl Lagerfeld showed Chanel’s Couture Spring-Summer 2008 on Tuesday in Paris. Using dark blues, greens, and pearl colors, the collection takes on an underwater sea feel. The clothing resemble sea shells, and all of the girls whisked around comfortably wearing flats (as can be seen below). Though the construction of the clothing was to resemble the underwater world, what stood out to me the most were the details – lots of ruffles, fringes, feathers, multiple layers, pearls, and metallic pieces.
Minus the outfit below which just makes the model look far bigger then she is, all in all, the collection came together.
