The stock market crash on 1929 may have killed the economy but it couldn't kill glamor. And though no one is calling the current U.S. economic status that serious just yet, perhaps we should prepare by reminding ourselves just how glamorous the great depression can be if we find creative ways to work it out.
- Joanna from Cup of Joe shows up how to party our way through the depression.
- Event planner David Monn teaches us that just because we're nearing the next depression, that doesn't mean dinner parties have to be depressing.
- And though recession may be considered a bad word when we are talking about money, when it comes to wine, it isn't all that bad. Recession Wine will help you drink the pain away without wiping out your "under the mattress" savings.
- And if all else fails, we can spend 9 bucks and go watch Confessions of a Shop-a-holic.

that 1940s dress is
just lovely. I want it!
This just reminded me how much I love the '30s and '40s... I'm head over heels for those dresses!
Love the advice. I also think the timing of the Shopaholic release is not only comical, but ironic.
