Ladies First

I have to say, now that Obama won, we will most certainly have two of perhaps the most attractive ladies to ever be in the white house - Jill Biden and Michelle Obama.

Michelle knows her stuff when it comes to fashion designers, and last night she showed up wearing an adaptation of a Spring 09 Narciso Rodriguez dress. I think Narciso Rodriguez's sales just went up.

Narciso? Hmm, kinda have to say I wasn't loving on the dress. But did I REALLY care about the dress last night? NOT AT ALL!!!

They are both just stunning! What an amazing night. I cried tears of joy into my champagne and wished I was in Chicago.

Michelle is to die for in the top photo - I have a little thing for purple right now.

Happy election week :) We're willing to live in the United States again at some point now.

I agree!! I can't wait to see all of Michelle's fashions throughout the next years. I LOVE that she took a risk with that red/black dress!!

I would have to agree, they are both stunning women! Not only stylish, but also intelligent!!

I love that she wears lots of younger designers and takes more risks. It will be so interesting to see the impact she has on fashion.

I was wondering who made that dress! it's a real departure for Narciso. I have one of his dresses (a killer find at a Neiman Marcus outlet - I could never afford full price) and it always makes me feel like a million bucks. He really understands women's bodies. I wasn't crazy about Mrs. Biden's dress on election night - it looked like a green screen. Unless she was making a statement about the environment, I did not understand the choice.

It's going to be so much fun to watch Michelle's fashion. She's very chic yet also very accessible.

I think that Michelle is very beautiful and am looking forward to seeing what else she will be wearing. I didn't happen to see what Mrs. Biden was wearing. I see that I missed more than the acceptance speach on Tuesday night. Geesh.

I love Michelle's style but at the same time she is so down to earth and that what makes it so fabulous. I saw where J.Crew was selling the entire outfit she wore on Leno a few weeks back:)

I'd never seen "the lady Biden" before... I didn't love Michelle's dress, but I love her flair for fashion. It's going to be fun to see her transformation over the next few years!

I agree with joanna. I wasn't a fan of that dress (on either woman) but it's exciting to see something other than a pantsuit in Washington. ugh!
