French Coaster Giveaway

Paris week continues with a French inspired giveaway (Free stuff is good stuff). I am giving away this set of 4 coasters with French Post decoration. The background is a bone color with cursive handwriting details, stamps and a cork bottom.

Post a comment telling me what your favorite French food is and I will post the winner of the most delicious sounding food (atleast to me) on Thursday morning. Note to all trying to win - I am a chocolate and cheese lover.

p.s. Don't forget about the monthly giveaway series. Find out all the details here and send me your photos.

I don't know if French toast is really French, but it's my favorite!

It's not really a creative answer, but fondue is my favorite. (and it includes chocolate or cheese!) It's always fun to get people together for a fondue party.

ps- cute coasters!

this isn't a food related comment, but it's french related at least. since you're heading to paris, i recommend the film "Paris, je t'aime." it's a bunch of short films about the enchanting city.
have an incredible trip!

I second the movie Paris je t'aime recommendation. It's fabulous! I don't *love* french food but french pastries are another story, give me croissants, breads, any of it, and I will eat it up. That and some good wine or coffee is all I need.

Oh my, I just happened to stumble onto your blog for the first time and you are having a giveaway!

Last weekend, while at a festival, I had a triple treat crepe. It was filled with bananas, strawberries and nutella chocolate...topped with fresh whipped cream. It was my first time eating a crepe. Um...love it!!!!

This is my first time to your blog as well! Thank you so much for posting on mine... My vote for fav French cuisine is crepes smothered in buttered topped with cherries (tart and sweet), rich chocolate and a dash (or 20) of heavy creme. I haven't had this exact combo, but I will now - tomorrow. I don't need the coasters, but oh do I want them! I love France (sigh).

Some acquaintances of mine have a Beaujolais night and they served this dish that was essentially bread crumbs, cream, cauliflower and gruyere. I've never liked cauliflower and can barely stand cheese but it was *delicious*. I can't remember the name for the dish but do remember it was from Joy of French Cooking. I have never wished more than I did that night that I had any talent at all in the kitchen.
