There seems to be a rash of pregnancies in the modeling world: Gisele, Karolina Kurkova, and now Jourdan Dunn. It reminds me of when Katie Holmes, The Pitts, that Simpson sister, yea, yea you get my point. It's as if the business of popping out babies (i.e. baby clothes, baby bumps, blah blah) is a trend. Your thoughts?

oh baby

millions of other women are having babies too, not just a few famous ones.
millions if not billions of women are having babies but it just seems weird when a celebrity or a famous person gets randomly pregnant. if that is what she is getting at.
Stacey, I see your point. Celebrities are being much more public with their children than they used to be. I have a lot of respect for the ones that keep that part of their lives private, and don't use it to promote their career. Jessica Lang and Sam Shepherd are a great example, you never hear a peep about their kids, only their talents.

It does seem a lot...perhaps the media is just reporting on these things more than they used to though? There seems to be an obsession with celeb babies that has been creeping up lately.
I guess I'm a bit amazed that people actually care that celebrities are breeding? We all do it - every creature on Earth. What makes them so special?
It is very disparaging to watch the tall lithe bodies of these women go through the process and look fabulous! Both of my boys were BIG and I certainly did not feel fabulous whilst pregnant! Oh well good for them!
