Let’s be honest – women dress for women. Men could careless about what color shoes we walk in, or who designs our dresses. And for the most part, this system of dressing works. . . well except when it comes to one particularly body part – boobs.
You see, what us ladies watch on TV and stare at in magazines are tall, skinny, flat-chested women. And what we see is what we want. We want small hips, long legs, and plunging necklines. But then there are men. Men who want hips, an ass, and a rack (if you know what I mean).
Just look at the difference between Vogue and Maxim magazine. Men think Eva Mendes is perfect, while we are busy trying to figure out how to look more like Magdalena Frackowiak.
Not that we have a choice when it comes to breast-size (naturally at least), but still… what is a girl to do?
I’ve got more to say about this topic tomorrow…

I've never commented on your lovely blog before, but I must commend you on this post!! This problem is fascinating, especially comparing the opinions of men and women. Who are we trying to impress?? Women/colleagues or Men/"The Infamous Opposite Sex"? Why do women kill themselves to have size 0 bodies? But then again, do we need to have bodies to only impress potential boy toys? This is a topic I've been stewing over for some time, and I'm excited to see how people respond! Thank you!!
The skinny model dates back to ancient men's fascination with young boys. That said, I'm glad to have some cushioning, and glad Cute Hubby approves.
Haha, it's a very interesting idea. I remember going through a stage when I wanted my boobs to be huge because I had only just started puberty and they were so small! Haha, they grew a little, I lost some weight, and now they are nice and small; just how I like them! Who would I rather look like? Definitely Eva ♥
i love the postcant wait for more on the topic

you are hilarious! Thanks for the smile. I dunno, I think we should just work what we've got, but I honestly think women dress to impress other women as men would just rather see those clothes on the floor. I read somewhere that guys are most attracted to the colour red if that helps anyone out. ;)
I dress for myself, but I can understand why people dress for other people. It is only natural.
that is very true! I always ask my boyfriend "how do I look" every time I see him and he always asks me "you look great, how much did you spend?". ahhh
Great blog! Do check out my recent blog on related issues>>> http://justyougirl.blogspot.com/
When I read this post I let out a huge "YES!". It's so true, everytime I start loosing weight and get all excited, my husband always raises an eyebrow and says, "Ok, but don't loose too much, I like curves".
