In searching the web for more Christian Lacroix bankruptcy information, I came across a fabulous New York Times photo slide show. It gives a behind the scenes look at how garments are made for Lacroix, Chanel, and Dior. Check it out, the photos are worth it!

It's just so sad.
All the beading and the embroidery done is so amazing.
Hand beading is tedious, and beautiful. A true luxury.
