Believe it or not, I played the piano for 11 years. And though I cannot remember anything past chopsticks, I still love the look of a grand piano.
Though I would love to own just one piano,

What a brilliant idea! I'd love a grand piano too! Even my 'upright grand' is sadly squooshed in my spare room collecting dust :(

I love the stillness of the pianist in the first picture. It seems nice to have pianos at a runway show. It's always interesting to wonder about the general ambience of a show from its clothes.

Zac Posen's stuff is really beautiful. I play the piano too, badly, whenever I see one.
Rachel Comey did this a couple seasons ago Рher show was in the big parlor of the Salamgundi Club and there was a pianist playing some really haunting pieces... it was like a s̩ance or something. Really cool.

A piano? On the runway? That's amazing! It's such a great way to bring musicians the credit they need. Without music, you couldn't possibly have a full-on runway show.
