I adored him, and am so, so sad.
It really is a loss. He was doing what he loved, at least.
i'm crushed. he spoke at my college graduation in 2002 and i've been a fan ever since. another reminder to live every day to its fullest.
I heard about this - there was quite a long report on him today on one of the early morning breakfast shows here in Australia. He seemed like such a good guy.
It was very shocking news... Meet the Press will not be the same... they are doing a feature on him tomorrow morning with Tom Brokaw.
