Vintage French Interiors and a Paris Mini Tour

This is my last post on French things. Next week it is all London. But for now . . .

Vintage French Interiors isn’t as spectacular as French Home but it serves as a great reference book for places to shop in France. Vintage French Interiors provides images and details from various vintage shops, antique shops, and flea markets throughout France. The book provides addresses and phone numbers so you can get to every store and the photos help give you a better idea of what exactly you might find in every location.

Now if I could only figure out a way to ship everything I am going to find in Paris back to the US for less then 50 bucks. Probably not going to happen, but oh how I wish . . .

ALSO -
At Home At Home blog just posted a mini tour of Paris. Could the timing be more perfect?

That book looks fantastic and what a great resource.

You've probably already thought of this, but when I shop flea markets that are plane rides from home, I take two large suitcases on the plane and one carry-on. The large suitcases are filled with a few clothes and lots of bubble wrap and packing paper on the trip over, and packed to the brim with flea market finds on the way home. A good way to get two very large "boxes" shipped for free.
