My New Favorite Store

I am late on just about everything. A bit of an excuse, I have only lived in Seattle for 2 years and one month in total, so I am a little late to discover Watson Kennedy. And now that I have found it, it might just be my favorite store.

The store and Ted Watson's home have been shown in Country Living, Sunset, Seattle Magazine, InStyle, Lucky, Allure, Better Homes and Gardens, and more.

The store carries everything you could ever want, from paper to dishes, soaps to clocks, seriously everything. And the best part is, there is always something affordable. Yes, yes, you could easily spend 1000 bucks but you can also spend 14 and get the cutest almond dish of your life.

If you live in, around, or are visiting any time soon, you need to visit this store. And if you don't, even better - you can shop online.

Watson Kennedy Fine Living
86 Pine Street
Seattle, Washington 98101

or

Watson Kennedy Fine Home
1022 First Avenue
Seattle, Washington 98104

oh I absoluetly adore that kitchen. The green got me at first glance. I love the open shelves. That picture will be filled on my "dream kitchen" folder!

I never found this store while I live in Seattle (but I only lived there for seven/eight months). It's gorgeous.

it's pretty much pure bliss. one word of advice though - all those pretty tags and ribbons? you can get them at packaging specialties for half the price! the shop is so well styled though, and full of treasures. it's one of my favorites too :)

oh, and PS - they now have a small location in 'old' bellevue on the eastside for the surburban folk!

I used to go there on my lunch break once a week when I lived in Seattle! It's soooo fabulous.

Given that I've lived here my whole life including being 5 minutes from downtown the last 4 years, how shameful is it that I've never heard of or been to this place? Will have to try to check it out...maybe next weekend since this one is already packed.
