Belts, belts, and more belts. Wearing slacks? Wear a belt. Wearing a jacket? Wear a belt. Suits, dresses, skirts, everything gets a belt.
The models worked the clothing (and belts) as they showcased BCBG Max Azria’s Fall 08 collection. The highlights were the short, short dresses and skirts, bold solid satins, and of course the belts. For most women who don’t have long, lean legs, such as myself, the short skirts and dresses could be problematic.
Some of the models had issues walking (on model early on had a slight loss of balance). But all in all, I have to say I liked the collection. The solid colors made a subtle statement but the details such as pleating is what really caught my eye and made each item stand out. And almost all of the outfits could be walked off the runway and work perfectly just about anywhere.
